Great News: Art Club is back in 2014!
Yes! After a brief hiatus (Miss M was busy finishing her Master's Thesis!), after-school Art Club is back at SJV!
Two different Art Club Sessions will be offered for students from 4th-8th grade!
Students in grades 4 & 5 will focus on creating a variety of projects inspired by different artisans and
craftspeople! From creating and designing our own personalized wall calendars
to experimenting with different ceramic techniques this session of art club
will definitely be fun for all!
Students in grades 6-8 will be creating various types of art to help
further beautify our wonderful school! From a Keith Haring-inspired mural to a
collaborative bottle cap collage, we will be creating art using teamwork and
creativity! Students will learn the processes of creating a mural and
installing their work throughout the school. In addition, students have the
opportunity to work on independent projects during this time using a variety of
art materials.
Make sure you hand back your Art Club forms if you are interested!
