Robots and Doughnuts!
In a unit featuring Humor in Art, 6th grade students learned about Contemporary artist, Eric Joyner. The humorous paintings of Joyner feature personified robots and doughnut imagery.
6th graders loved the playful and Surreal paintings of Joyner. In this lesson, they had to create a painting of a robot, personified in an everyday human roll. They also had the task of including a doughnut into the scene!
